The X R C 50 is the successor to the X C R 40 and for a rower weighing 65kg to 85kg. The 50s is ideally suited for clubs and as an all-women four or quadruple scull. With a length of 11.80 m, the new 50 is slightly shorter than the previous 40. With 41cm in the waterline, it is 2.5cm narrower than the 40s. However, due to its new shape, it is not more unstable. The 6.5 cm longer waterline leads to less susceptibility to cross winds and much better length stability. The resistance values of the 50s are much better in the calculation compared to the 40s of other fours.
