New four and quadruple scull: X C R 54

The X C R 54 is a new four and quad, with or without cox, with a length of 11.88m and 0.41m waterline width.

It is intended as a successor to our Quad 44 and covers the same weight range of 80kg to 95kg.

The X C R 54 is a new four and quad, with or without cox, with a length of 11.88m and 0.41m waterline width. It is intended as a successor to our Quad 44 and covers the same weight range of 80kg to 95kg.

The 54 is drawn in the same modern design analogous to the fours 50 and 55. Compared to the 44, the waterline width has been reduced by 20mm and the draft by 6mm. This reduces forehead resistance significantly.

Furthermore, the shape resistance could be improved by optimizing the line shape. A pronounced U-shaped central nave ensures sufficient side stability. The rigger drilling width is the same at all seats so that no additional riggers are required.

The rigger drilling width of 510mm is the same as the fours 47, 55 and 50. This makes it possible to swap rigger sets from four to four.
