The X C R 89 is our new eight for an average rower’s weight from 65kg to 80kg. It is intended as a successor to the 84. The new 89er is a bit more longitudinally stable in order to stomp less and thus run better through the catch and finish. 2.5cm less waterline width and 1cm less depth make the 89er faster. The position of the seat deck is biomechanically and ergonomically improved compared to the 84. This makes the eight more stable and more effective to row. The 89 is 16.73m long and 54cm wide at the waterline.
